Say Goodbye to Tess Bodine, our Director of Fun
The award-winning Singletrack Copper Ale has a new attitude.

To get this gorgeous new look, we approached our favorite local artist, Karen Kreutzer - a fourth generation Boulder native also responsible for the great paintings used on our other "Boulder Beer" sixpacks. We asked her to re-create the view of the Flatirons from the National Center for Atmospheric Research. She wanted to capture the feeling of coming down off the mountain -- on a singletrack trail, of course -- taking a breather, and grabbing a cold refreshing beer. And what better way than to paint the two well-used bikes of a couple of our most avid riders: Jeff Brown and David Zuckerman.
Although after their most recent excursion to Colorado's western slope, the line around here is that the beer tasted pretty good on the way to the hospital - someone dug a pretty good off-track trail themself with a shoulder!
The first new six-and-twelve packs rolled off the line in May, and if not already there should be on your retailer's shelves in the next few weeks. It's the same beer that won the Silver in the World Beer Cup in 2002, and with luck it will join the ranks of two of our other brews that won silver and bronze in the International Brand Packaging Awards in '03 and '04. Look for it with your other favorite Boulder Beers: Pass Time Pale Ale, Sundance Amber Ale and Planet Porter.

For all you busy people in the Boulder area who thought there were not enough hours in the day to check emails, finish up business proposals, make last minute reservations, check out just who this Danica Patrick racecar woman is AND drink a cold fresh craft beer, we've not got Wireless Fidelity in the brewery. Log on to the net with our high-speed network and go. It's free, and it beats being at work and having to explain the pint of Mojo next to your laptop.
Live music on Thursdays begins June 2. If Chicken Dan's Band weren't enough to tempt you to join us on the patio from 5 - 8, we've got a $2 Sweaty Betty special running all night. Please join us for music fresh from the coop and better than barnyard droppings. Crunchy Island Country Funk Rock from The Chicken and his trained circus animals, featuring Ashley Owen from the piano bar Sing Sing, Johnny "3-Stab" Earnhardt on the drums and the thumb-thumpin' Con Woodall and his electric stand-up bass. Rumors of other guest artists are snaking around the brewery as well, including percussionists, blues harp masters and even a potential marimba paduan named Zuckerman.

Summer in Colorado means a Festival every weekend. Or Summer in Oregon. Or New York....Check our events calendar for fun stuff to do that's beer - related. From the West Coast to the East, we've got the list. Our man Marvin just got back from a good time and a great fest in Connecticut that was a little out of the way but a great brewfest. Where? "If you're leaving New York on the way to nowhere, it's halfway there."
And if we forgot something, please let us know and we'll toss it on there. Click here for summer fun. www.boulderbeer.com/rbcwgo.htm
Don't Forget to Mark Your Calendar for The Goatshed Revival August 27, 2005 We're going to throw our annual parking lot party. Look for more good times like the past two years, plus bigger bands, more beers, and hopefully fewer naked people -- although that's not a guarantee. This June, look for our Hazed Beer Bash Contest. What’s the prize? A party at your house. You bring the friends, and we’ll show up with live music from the band Storytyme, along with a couple kegs of Hazed. Where do you have to live? Here’s the beauty: anywhere you can buy a 12-pack of Hazed & Infused. The band’s willing to go anywhere we will. Talk about a party bus!
We’ve got two ways to win: online at our website www.boulderbeer.com or by picking up a twelve-pack of Hazed & Infused with the winning “golden ticket.” It’s like Willy Wonka for grownups. Instead of chocolate, it's beer. While both have their merits, we like the beer aspect.
And the really cool part: every 12 pack of Hazed & Infused dry-hopped ale has a Storytyme cd sampler in it, with three songs including, for some reason, one called "Hazed & Infused."
The best way to get Hazed? Ask your retailer, and they'll find it! If they can't, just give them my name: webguy@boulderbeer.com

Please raise a glass and say Goodbye to Tess Bodine, our self-proclaimed "Party Princess."

And say hello to Tess McFadden, our Party Queen. Congrats to Tess and Chad on their June 4 wedding.
She's not leaving us, Chad's just got a legitimate reason to raise that personalized mug here more often.Tess will be back and ready to roll after a couple weeks in Hawaii. We'll try to have fun without her.

And Finally, this month's quote:
"I'm thinking, it's a beautiful morning, I'll ride the long way to work. I'll check my daytimer later."
-- Brewmaster David Zuckerman, whose bike is one of the two featured on the new Singletrack six and 12-packs.
Again, thank you, from all of us.
Cheers! - Dan the Webguy
