Top Story: A Natural Blonde for you to take home -- Sweaty Betty is Back
Hazed & Infused 12 Packs Rolling Eastward
Online Giftshop More Accessible Than Ever
We all know about Barney and Wilma, but here's Fred and Betty. Packaging dude Fred Libby, that is, and his cavewoman Sweaty Betty thrown over his shoulder. The photo below was taken during the first bottling of this year's stunning summer seasonal, Sweaty Betty Blonde wheat beer. It's guys like Fred, Eric and the crew that bring your beer to you and this webguy has just one word for them: Thanks!

Sweaty Betty. That's right, she's back, and she's available. Our natural blonde German style hefeweizen proved so popular in the 22 oz. "bombers" we released locally in 2004, that we brought her back in 12 oz six-packs. They look like this:

Looking for fun with a natural blonde? Our rollout party for Sweaty Betty at the Boulder Beer Brewery and Pub is happening Friday, April 8 from 4 - close. There will be $1.50 pints of the beer, as well as good times, giveaways, and perhaps a little live music on the back patio. Bring your party attitude and your best blonde joke, and you might take her home yourself. Need directions to the brewery? Click here: http://www.boulderbeer.com/rbcmainframewaw.htm
And, if you come by the brewery, you just might even meet the Brewmaster, the notoriously shy David Zuckerman. He won't necessarily introduce himself, but if you see him, go on up and thank him for the great beers! He looks like this:

Why go to Rome if you want to hang out in a crowd? That's right, you don't have to go to the Pope's funeral if you want to mingle with likeminded souls - go to a beer festival! They're probably just as fun and a lot more accessible! We've got plenty of fests on tap, from the Brewtopia in New York City to the Firefighters benefit at the Pumphouse in Longmont, CO on Saturday the 16th (something you won't want to miss if you're in town - our beer's being poured by the terrific tandem of Hickman and Pete). Check back on our website next week for a complete listing of April, May and June events. Yeah, the calendar's not up yet because the webguy's got other stuff to do, too, like stuffing Storytyme CDs into....
Hazed 12 packs. We get plenty of questions from you guys out there, and the answer is: They're making their way East. Colorado Hazed fans have already seen them and scarfed them up. Meanwhile trucks are leaving daily with doses of Hazed & Infused X 12. We're trying to keep up with demand, and for those of you east of Kansas, they're on their way.
The best way to get Hazed? Ask your retailer, and they'll find it! If they can't, just give them my name: webguy@boulderbeer.com
Speaking of Hazed, Boulder Beer's Director of Fun and Marketing Tool had lunch outside on our back patio this past Thursday with the guys from the band, Storytyme, and they are stoked. The boys have offered to play in YOUR backyard this July. Keep your eyes open at your local retailer for details, but the deal is that two lucky winners -- anywhere in the U.S. that we distribute -- will get the band, beer from us, and a good time in their backyard. How to win? Willy Wonka style: we're giving you a free "Hazed & Infused" CD in each 12 pack, but there will be a Golden Ticket inside one of the CD's that will notify the winner of a guaranteed party at their house. We're calling it the Hazed Backyard B*A*S*H - stands for Beer and Storytyme Houseparty. This unique-but-entirely-coincidental-and-inadvertantly-similar-to-the-new-Johnny-Depp-movie Party promo will be coming your way this June...
Check out our new Stuff for Sale Page. OK, so it took us a while to get here, but our website is now FULLY caught up to the 21st Century. Visit our website and click on Stuff for Sale, and you can one-stop-shop for all your favorite gear from Boulder Beer. This includes our cool light-up flying discs, as well as a bunch of new hats and visors. click on http://www.boulderbeer.com/rbcmainframesfs.htm for the goods.
Mark Your Calendar for The Goatshed Revival August 27, 2005 We're going to throw our annual parking lot party. Look for more good times like the past two years, plus bigger bands, more beers, and hopefully fewer naked people -- although that's not a guarantee. For more info on The Goatshed Revival, click here: http://www.boulderbeer.com/GoatshedRevival05.htm
Spring is here, and so is patio dining. We don't know where YOU live, but in Boulder this week the weather's been mighty fine. It even brought our Pub Manager, Jamie, out of his cavelike den of an office to enjoy a cold beverage on the Patio and start planning the summer music schedule. Bands are being booked, and once again, we'll have live music during happy hour and beyond every Thursday, beginning right after Memorial Day on June 2. Hope you can join us! We're already open for lunches & happy hours, weather permitting.
And Finally, this month's quote:
"Beer makes you feel like you're supposed to feel if you're not drinking beer."
-- Jessica G., Denver Area Sales Manager for Boulder Beer.

Here's a photo taken last week of Jessica, Feelin' Hazed, and some guy in our brewery's pub. She puts a smile on everyone's face. Thanks, Jessica!
And thank you, from all of us.
Cheers! - Dan the Webguy
